Dear Steve and Eric,
Please accept my condolences on your mother's death. Jack mentioned it to me, and I read the notice in this morning's paper. It was good to see the reference to the Dewey Commission. Even though I haven't seen or spoken to you in decades, Steve, and I never met your mother, I did want to send my greeting to both of you.
