SCOTT COBY Obituary

COBY--Scott S.A. On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, Scott S.A. Coby, dedicated husband and loving father of three children, passed away on the family property in Keene, NY. Scott, aged 75, was born on September 7, 1943 in New York City. Scott is survived by his wife of 49 years, Francine Campbell Coby; his two sons, Scott Jr., married to Anne-Laure, and Laird, married to Brooke, and his daughter, Catherine, recently married to Robert Hughes. Scott was a loving grandfather, and cherished his four granddaughters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11am at St. Matthew's Church, 382 Cantitoe St., Bedford, NY 10506. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The Camp Fire Conservation Fund: P.O. Box 678, Millwood, NY 10546.

Francine,
We will never forget those wonderful Columbus Day weekends at your hilltop farm for the Coby annual grouse hunt and sporting clay shoot. You and Scott were such gracious hosts. We will miss him. Our deepest sympathy to you and your beautiful family.

Dear Francine, Scott Jr., Laird, Katie, and Families,

We were both shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of beloved Scott, our paternal 1st cousin. We are sending you our deepest sympathy and our heartfelt condolences over the human loss you are experiencing. We have many fond memories of Scott over the years starting with his first birthday party in New York City. May God continue to bless you with unconditional love and provide you with inner strength and comfort during this difficult time. We have faith that life is everlasting and pray that someday all of us will be reunited with Scott. May the beautiful memories of beloved Scott bring you warmth and keep him always close in your hearts.
