We´d get together in recent years for lunch, most recently at Wagamama, a fusion restaurant which was in the base of Sid´s building, where his firm was located. The single one is Sid. At the table clockwise from Bob Levenstien, is Bill Roskin, Paul Bergman, Jerry Rosenthal, Steve Harmon, and Sid, who was our sage, older brother. Eric Solomon is not in this photo but he is in others. Steve Harmon is the unofficial photographer of these informal get togethers and he has plants of photos to share. We all have memories to share of Sid and will do so over the coming days and weeks.

To say that Sid was an incredible guy is an understatement. He is and was the most vivacious, determined incredibly gifted political operative in New York history. A very fine fellow, Sid taught me street-politics back in the mid '70's. Persuasive could have been his middle name, Sid always delivered. Bless him dearly. Here's to you BIG guy!
