STEPHEN SCHNEIDER

SCHNEIDER--Stephen B. Stephen B. Schneider, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend died Tuesday, June 9th at the age of 79. Stephen was born in Bronx, NY to Rosemond (nee Skolnik) and Allen C. Schneider. He attended Jamaica High School, where he first met his wife Rhoda (nee Lebow). After graduating from The University of Pennsylvania in 1963 and Brooklyn Law School, Steve joined his father's accounting firm, Allen C. Schneider & Co. where he became a partner and practiced tax law and accounting for over 50 years. Together with a wonderful group of lifelong friends, Steve shared a passion for race horses. He was an avid reader and lover of music and dancing. A survivor of Juvenile Diabetes, Steve was also a multiple transplant recipient, having received a kidney from wife Rhoda and a donor pancreas. Steve is survived by his wife, Rhoda Schneider, sister Beverly Stuchiner, Son Dr. Jeffrey Schneider, Daughter Bonnie Sikowitz, nieces, nephews and much beloved grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11th at 1pm at Gutterman's Funeral Home: 175 N Long Beach Rd., Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
