Mr. Dean Frumkin was supportive and kind. I knew I could count on him to be a voice of reason, and he had my back. I’m going to miss his presence, compassion, and advocacy. He listened. He was forward thinking. Again, kind. What a gentleman.
My condolences.

Dean Frumkin was one of my favorite people at FIT. He was incredibly smart, future thinking, and an easy/ enjoyable person to talk to. I’ve never met someone more sarcastic than I until I met him, and it became clear we were kindred spirits. I will always remember the laughs we had and the advice he imparted! Miss you Dean Frumkin.

Dean Frumkin's passing is very saddening news. I only shared brief elevator moments with him, but from those few short interactions I could tell he was a devoted teacher and hardworking administrator. He will surely be missed on campus.

Unfortunately, I just had a short time to meet him. But I can say that he was always very kind and it was nice to see him when we had the opportunity. My husband and I will always remember him and keep him in our hearts. RIP
