STEVEN WOLFE

WOLFE--Steven W., died suddenly on February 22, 2024. Son of Rose and Charles Wolfe (both deceased) and brother of Robin (deceased). Raised in Sunnyside and Rego Park, Steven attended Cornell, Adelphi, and Columbia Law School (JD) and was a practicing attorney in Manhattan from 1962 until his death. He served in the Army Medical Reserves and was a member of JAG for many years. Among his many professional accomplishments was his service on the New York State Judicial Commission on Minorities under Mayor David Dinkins. He was an avid tennis player and skier, a lover of fine wines, and a creator of ingenious practical jokes. He leaves his wife, Carol (Arndt), to whom he was married for 58 years, and his daughter Dr. Jessica Wolfe.
