SYLVIA KESTENBAUM Obituary

KESTENBAUM--Sylvia, 92, died peacefully at her home on January 2, 2014. She was the devoted wife of the late Howard Kestenbaum; loving mother of Gene (Sue) and the late Richard; adored grandmother of Brian (Gavi) and Adam (Jackie); beloved great-grandmother of Asher, Henry, Alex, Ben and Madeline who is named in her honor. She was also the dear aunt to Meryl (Ken) Chaitman and Nancy (Bill) Moses; executive assistant for many years to the late Alan Benasuli at European Investors; and the devoted friend of Jeanne Frank for 62 years. Memorial services will be held at Plaza Jewish Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends at her late residence immediately following the service. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), 150 Monument Road, Suite 402, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
