THOMAS KELSEY

KELSEY--Thomas V.A. Thomas V.A. Kelsey, a retired Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of the Chubb Corporation, and past President of School, College & University Underwriters, Ltd, Bermuda, passed away October 29, 2025. Tom was raised in Montclair, NJ, graduated from Burlingame High School in California and from Dartmouth College. Tom was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Elizabeth Sessions Kelsey. They raised their children in Chatham and then Summit, NJ. A man of great faith, Tom was active in and enjoyed the community of St. Paul's Church, Chatham, NJ, and Trinity Church, Meredith, NH. In retirement, Tom and Liz travelled often, spending winters in Naples, Florida and summers on Squam Lake, Center Harbor, NH. After fifty years in New Jersey, they moved to Riverwoods in Exeter, NH in 2010. Tom was a devoted father of three and grandfather of eight. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church (Episcopal), 43 Pine Street, Exeter, NH on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1pm. Full obituary: brewittfuneralhome.com
