Dear Family of Tom, I am sending my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. I first met Tom in 2006 when he invited me to visit his African art collection, of which he owned some beautiful examples, in particular masks. Me being originally from Munich, we also shared a love for this city and of course music. His depth, generosity and mirth will live on and be missed dearly. Heinrich

Dear Family of Tom, I went to high school with Tom and we dated for a bit. A few years ago we met up again in NY. At that time I purchased one of his pieces which I will always treasure. My thoughts and condolences are with you.

Dear Maestro,
I worked at the Met and Tom was always there in the cafeteria and, of course, the house. I am myself a stage four cancer patient and my sister is my best friend and ally so I think I may know a little of what you may be going through and I send my heartfelt condolences.
