I still am saddened by the loss of one of my closest high school friends at such a young age. The eight years haven't changed that. Thomas was fun, intelligent and so talented in everything he chose to pursue. I have thought of him often through the years and wished he was still here to see and talk to again. RIP

Where does the time go? I cannot believe it's been 8 years. I thought of Tom at our 40th HS reunion. While it was a wonderful gathering to see everyone Tom was definitely missed. RIP

In September 1990 we were celebrating my Grandmother's one hundredth birthday. Thomas arrived looking handsome like he had just stepped out of GT monthly. He was carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers filled with rubin lilies. I remember thinking you could only get flowers like this in NYC. When he gave her a kiss and the bouquet her entire face lit up- it was beautiful. This was typical of the manner in which Thomas treated everyone. I will always remember Thomas that way.

Seth and I have been blessed to have know Thomas even for a short time. He will always be in my heart :) I know that we were meant to meet that day in NY....Thomas finished a setence that I had started earlier that day...our souls just instantly clicked! I will forever be thankful for all of our talks together and how he gave Seth strength to go through his treatment. Now we will forever have his spirit with us and enjoy our time together with Frank :) ( Margie & Seth Grumet Marlboro, NJ)

To Thomas on his birthday - we know you are with us in spirit and think about you every day. We are inspired by way you embraced life, and the challenges you faced. It's making me appreciate every day just a little bit more. That is one of the many gifts you left us. Much love, Susan, Pat and Ian

I am truly saddened by the news of Thomas's passing which I became aware of only today. I met Thomas when he was still at Pratt and we shared a few years of our lives when we were young. I have countless memories of Thomas which I expect will come quickly into focus with this news. My condolences to Frank and Thomas's parents and sister. I know that your loss is enormous.

To Frank and the Rosamilia family, my deepest condolences. I knew Tom since first grade and we remained close all throughout high school. My memories of him are some of my most vivid from those years because Tom was always such an amazing presence-- upbeat, kind, witty, a truly gifted individual. His friendship is a gift I have always treasured.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news from my Mother this past Sunday as was she. I still can't stop thinking about Thomas, one of my closest high school friends and neighbor. Our lives took different paths through our adulthood but we met up from time to time. I was always so impressed with what a full life he led both through his professional success and his personal success and happiness -- especially evident with the wonderful life and home he shared with Frank. My sincere condolences and love to Frank and the Rosamilias, my old neighbors from Cambridge Road. And, of course, my love and prayers to Thomas on his journey.

I met Tom in 1981. Sweet, intelligent, funny, loyal and giving... and yes, a great looker, too. I miss him. Accompanying this appreciation is a picture of Tom in a high-school production of "1776".
