VINCENT FAZIO Obituary

FAZIO--Vincent James, of New York City. Born September 1, 1928, died October 9th. Cum laude NYU grad, Vince was a CPA, held an MBA and studied at Fordham Law School. After serving as Korean War Marine Corps Sergeant, he worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell; Eastman Radio; and CAB, as Senior VP of Finance and Administration. Extensive career travel included posts in Italy and Wales. Retired, Vince took up Shakespearean acting and won "Best Grandpa, Ever!" He joins son, Stephen, and is survived by beloved wife of 51 years, Wilhelmina; daughter, Elisa; son, Christopher; grandchildren, Elena, Peter and GiGi; brother Joseph's family; sister-in-law Barbara Vandervloed, and Comparetto cousins. Dear Elisa and Willy, I'm very sorry to hear that Vince passed away.
I'll always remember him as a gentle, caring and infinitely patient human.
His life was not an easy one and the saddest part was losing his fine intellectual powers to dreaded and cruel senility. He certainly deserved better and I hope he's found peace and tranquility in the afterlife.

Dear Elisa and fam., my parents and I will always keep Vincent in our hearts. I'll always be greatful to him because he got me my first work experience at CAB. Your plan to scatter some of his ashes in Italy to join with Stephen's it's a beautiful thought and we'll be waiting for you.
