I had the honor of meeting Vittorio Capparelli when I was in high school and a good friend of Maurizio's. Aside from being an outstanding cook who introduced me to homemade mozzarella and tiramisu (for which I am forever grateful!), Mr. Capparelli was not the typical father one would have found in suburbia. During each visit to his home, his talent and passion were always on display in unexpected ways; a professional barbershop in his basement, a new work of art utilizing diverse media, and a gregariousness that couldn't help but make you smile. His passion and lust for life will live on for lifetimes through all of those he touched. I am truly grateful that he touched my life.

Words cannot express my sorrow at the death of Vittorio Capparelli, a true Renaissance man who was my good friend for more than 42 years. To Antonietta, Marcello, and Maurizio -- my sincere sympathy. Vittorio will long be remembered by the many people who were privileged to know him.

My wife Elissa and I wish to express our deep condolences to Antonietta and her children. We were always made to feel at home by the Capparelli family. The loss of Vittorio is felt by us and our many friends who we brought to meet and share the wonderful experience of being with such wonderful and loving people.
We wish and pray for Vittorio's Peace. We ask for Healing to those who will miss him.

Mr. Capparelli was always a joyful man who maintained a positive outlook and always had a smile for me when I saw him. I enjoyed getting to know him not only as my patient, but as a deeply caring human being. My condolences for his wonderful wife and family at such a great loss.
