VIVIAN MILSTEIN

MILSTEIN--Vivian. Vivian Leiner Milstein passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2021. Born on February 27, 1922, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Dr. Joshua Leiner, a prominent neurologist and psychiatrist, and his wife, Beatrice. Vivian was predeceased by her beloved husband and true partner of 56 years, Seymour, her cherished sister, Clarice Levy, and brother, Robert Leiner. Vivian was the devoted and loving mother of Constance and her husband, Said, and of Philip and his wife, Cheryl. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren and their spouses, Abby and Rick, Joanna and Bjorn, Meredith and Lance, Joshua and Rachel, Toby and Judah, and Laurence, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Sara, Sophie, and Samson. Vivian was an elegant woman, dedicated philanthropist, sophisticated traveler, adventuresome lover of life, art, music, and all things of beauty the world had to offer. Our family matriarch, Vivian was a dignified shining light and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be forever remembered, deeply missed and always in our hearts. We are enormously grateful to Maya for all the care and attention she provided to Vivian with so much love.
