WALTER EBERSTADT Obituary

EBERSTADT--Walter A. The Board of Directors, staff, families of Northside Center for Child Development mourn the passing of Mr. Eberstadt who was the President of the Board of Directors and served on the board and Council of Advisors for over 40 years. Mr. Eberstadt worked closely with the legendary Drs. Mamie and Kenneth Clark. Walter noted in his book "Where We Came, Where We Went" that to be on Northside's board was a labor of love. Walter knew the devastating consequences of discrimination and devoted himself to Northside's mission of ensuring that children and families have equal opportunities to succeed. We are deeply grateful for his many years of unwavering commitment and generous support. Our deepest condolences to his family. Thelma Dye, Ph.D., CEO, Michael Goldstein, Board Chair, Susan Patricof, Board President.
