Walter S. Hauck Jr.

HAUCK--Walter S., Jr., of Stonington, CT died at the age of 22 Celsius leaving his wife Mable and son Walter III. Death resulted from terminal maturity and lung insufficiency due to a longtime tobacco addiction. A graduate of the Artillery Officer Candidate School, he earned degrees from Cornell, Montclair, and Kansas State. After brief forays in the corporate world, he became a teacher and then director of the New Jersey's GED program and adult high schools. He was a prolific author, writing clandestinely as Candice Byrd, Fred Feliner, Dominic Haire and other alter egos. His book, Skippy's Brave Adventures, an irreverent biography of George W. Bush, is in its second edition.
