WALTER LARKIN

LARKIN--Walter L., III. (August 12, 1954 - April 13, 2023) of New York, NY, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is pre- deceased by his parents, Walter L. Larkin, Jr. and Mary E. Larkin (Lyons), as well as his sister Elizabeth Van Wynen (Larkin) and partner Ralph R. Rugal. He is survived by a loving family in Pearl River, NY; his sister, Mary Flanagan, brother-in- law Quinton Van Wynen, nieces Betsey McConeghy, Maryclare Farrington, and nephews Quinton Van Wynen and Michael Flanagan. He was also the proud uncle to six great nieces and nephews, Erin and Katie McConeghy, Jackson and Whitney Farrington, and Clare and Kieran Flanagan. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 23rd, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue at 81st Street. Funeral Mass is at St. Vincent Ferrer R.C. Church, 869 Lexington Avenue at 65th Street, on Monday, April 24th, at 10:30am. Donations can be made in his memory to The James Lenox House Association, 49 East 73rd Street, New York, NY 10021. Memorial Mass will also be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at St. Aedan's Church, 10:30am, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, NY.
