As Bill's neighbor at Bill's Barn I had the opportunity to peek into what made up this remarkable man. I always stood in awe of Bill as I witnessed him going thru his weekly task. He took as much pleasure (he planted numerous ornamental shrubs & flowers there that continue to contribute to his memory) in doing the
mundane necessary task of maintaining his barn property as he did in finishing a complicated piece of woodwork. He could have hired the maintenance out but chose not to. Bill Barrette is not really gone....he is in everything that he left behind for us all. Woody & Lynn Collins

Too many memories to list as Bill and I went back over those 80 years starting in Plainfield, New Jersey, Kingston Trio, a visit to Tokyo, and lots of stories. We will miss him. Chip and Carly Detwiller, Groton, MA

Penny,
I am so sorry for your loss. Flooding memories of our great friends in those teenage, wonderful years overwhelm me. Bill was such a remarkable person. Truly a wonderful person we all respected and admired.
Penny, I am thinking of you and your family and know this is so sad and tragic. Hard to really believe. Our gang always at your house, always doing something on the edge. But Bill was the straight and true one. You married an exceptional man. How many ever knew their spouse their entire life!
Know I am thinking of you and your family.
Love
Bunny!
