I met Bill in 1967 when he boarded the ship the Lloyd Trestino after he completed his volunteer years in the peace corps. We became friends on the voyage to Europe. I remember him fondly. A history buff. An intelligent interesting person. I am very sorry to hear of his death. My condolences to his family.
