Graveside service for Mr. Dwight Cason, 54, of the Brownville Community will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Bethel No. II Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (1785 Lee Road 29; Opelika, AL 36804). Rev. Dr. Fredna Grimmett will officiate.

Mr. Cason passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home. At an early age, he joined Bethel No. II Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Cason was a graduate of Tuskegee Institute High School. He was well known throughout the area as a concrete finisher.

Public viewing will be held Monday from 4:00-6:00 pm.

He is survived by: his mother, Marie Cason of Auburn, AL; one son, Devin Talley of Auburn, AL; one granddaughter, Destiny Walker of Auburn, AL; five siblings, J.T. (Susan) Cason, Jr. of Decatur, GA, Omega Cason and Eddie (Lelia) Cason both of Auburn, AL, Ernest (Agnes) Cason of Decatur, GA and Prenenna Cason of Auburn, AL; two aunts, Hattie Vaulter of Columbus, OH and Betty Reynolds of Cincinnati, OH; his companion, Glory Torbert of Auburn, AL; two special friends, John Cannon and Johnny Cannon both of Opelika, AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
