Emma Jean Jordan; Graveside service for Emma Jordan, 68, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2000 South Uniroyal Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Dr. George C. McCulloh will officiate.
Mrs. Jordan, who passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home in Opelika, AL, was born June 27, 1954 in Macon County, AL.
Public viewing will be Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
She leaves to cherish her memory: five children: Carla Terry of Valley, AL, Thomas (Nicole) Jordan of Auburn, AL, Tameka Jordan (Derrick Broughton), Ramarlo Echols and Keiwana Eaton all of Opelika, AL; devoted companion, Willie Summers of Opelika, AL; eight grandchildren: Secundia Terry, Shatina Terry (Desmond Spann), Kambriel Wagner, Quindarius James, Kendarius James, Hakeem Pitts, Thomya Jordan and Marcell Davis; seven great-grandchildren: Marzaviar Dawson, Se'Nijahia Dawson, Ky'Leria Terry, Ky'Leigh Hunt, Ja'Niyah Wright, Journee Rowe and Elijah James; one sister, Linda (Lamar) Cooper of Opelika, AL; two brothers: Ossie (Bertha) Cardwell and Alphonso Cardwell both of Tuskegee, AL; one aunt, Loretta Love of Montgomery, AL; one uncle, Lorenzo Reese of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers-in-law: Gerald (Jackie) Jordan and Morris (Patricia) Jordan both of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law: Vera Tinsley and Lennie B. Jordan both of Opelika, AL; two special friends: Elaine (Graylon) Frazier and Peggie Lockhart both of Opelika, AL; a devoted friend, Sandra Williams of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
