Graveside service for Ms. Ivory Gene Yarbrough, 74, of Auburn, AL will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Pine Level Cemetery. Pastor Mark X. Lee will officiate.
Ms. Yarbrough passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Arbor Springs Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of Bell Missionary Baptist Church. In 1966, she graduated from JF Drake High School. After twenty-one years, Ms. Yarbrough retired from Auburn University Facilities Division.
Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
She is survived by: two children, Yolanda (Derick) Pruitt of Valley, AL and Patrick (Tabatha) Yarbrough of Auburn, AL; eight grandchildren, Tekela Yarbrough, Zaquarria Yarbrough, JaKeevius Stinson, Jarquavious Jeff, Shyheim Yancey, Brooklyn Yarbrough, Patiana Yarbrough and Jordan Yarbrough; seven great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
A special thanks is extended to Kindred Hospice, Southern Care Hospice and Arbor Springs Health and Rehab Center.
