Graveside service for Joe Allen Morgan, 66, of Opelika, AL, will be 1:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Highway 165, Ft. Mitchell, AL 36856, Pastor Carterris Tucker will officiate.
Mr. Morgan, who passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama, was born November 4, 1954 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing for Mr. Morgan will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Survivors include: eleven children, Brentonia Askew (Marcus Dawson), Phyllis Rene Morgan, Crystal Morgan, Betty Jean Morgan, Anthony Cook, Jennifer Ann Bandy-Askew, Denise Bandy, Monica Bandy, Kimberly Lashaun Bandy and Kawanda Scott Morgan; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
