I just discovered a few days ago that Phillip had passed. I can't tell you how sickened I am! He and I were so very close in college and beyond, staying in touch sporadically, until about ten years ago, when he told me of his condition. I am also in the same boat, so, I totally understand!
My condolences go out to you all, and, Dear Phillip, I hope and plan to see you in Heaven! You can't imagine how much I miss you!
May God wrap His loving arms around you all, knowing you will be reunited with him, also!
