Preceding his death were his father, Phillip Wayne Chancey; grandparents, E. B. and Dorothy Chancey and J. W. Chappell, Jr., Caroline Chappell Murfee and Howard Murfee; his aunt, Betty (nee Chancey) Keeter and his uncle, Dr. James Chappell. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, 3:00 p.m., in the family section at Oak Hill Cemetery in Union Springs with Rev. Tom Randall officiating and Gray Funeral Home directing. I just discovered a few days ago that Phillip had passed. I can't tell you how sickened I am! He and I were so very close in college and beyond, staying in touch sporadically, until about ten years ago, when he told me of his condition. I am also in the same boat, so, I totally understand!

My condolences go out to you all, and, Dear Phillip, I hope and plan to see you in Heaven! You can't imagine how much I miss you!

May God wrap His loving arms around you all, knowing you will be reunited with him, also!
