REGINALD COLEMAN Obituary

REGINALD O. COLEMAN, SR. 1938 - 2011 Reginald O. Coleman, Sr., age 72 of Opelika, was born in Mobile County, Alabama on October 14, 1938 and passed away at his home on June 4, 2011. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Opelika. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Alma Ruth (Smith) Coleman. He was retired from the retail management industry. He was predeceased by his parents Owens E. Coleman and Nettie Lee Coleman and brother, Gene A. Coleman. He is survived by his children, Sharan Coleman Enfinger (Joseph), Reginald O. Coleman, Jr. (Elaine), Angela Ruth Breedlove, and Chris Coleman (Sheena); five grandchildren, Casie Herbert (Chris), Reginald O. Coleman, III (Julie), Jennifer Enfinger Thompson (Lee), Shawn Enfinger, and Gabby Coleman; five great grandchildren, Chris, Breanna, Frances, Dylan, and Aalayah; sister-in-law, Willie Jean Coleman and her four children; and many cousins and loving and caring friends. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Fredericks Funeral Home conducted by Todd Morgan Smith. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Flowers will be accepted in the form of potted plants or bouquets that can be brought home or in the form of a donation in his memory to EAMC Cancer Center. The family would like to express special thanks to: Dr. Kevin Royal and staff, Dr. Kevin Ryan and staff, Dr. Wes Glisson and staff of the Cancer Center of EAMC, many caregivers at East Alabama Homecare, and Alacare Home Health and Hospice for years of loving dedication and service.
