Mrs. Lazenby and Family: I am so sorry for your loss and pray for comfort and the peace of Christ to surround and strengthen you at this time. My father (Jack Taylor) who, many years ago was County Agent in Lee County, met Dr. Lazenby when he was a young 4-H member. Dad thought the world of him. I met Dr. Lazenby through Dad, and am still, today, grateful for the letter of recommendation that he wrote for me in 1976 to, at that time, Lee Co. Hospital, where I worked as a Medical Technologist for 4 years.

Miss Peggy & Family,
Mom told me about Dr. Lazenby's death yesterday, and I am so so very sorry. I do know that my Dad was standing there waiting for him as soon as he entered Heaven! And I also know that Jesus was there with arms wide open to say "Well done". What an amazing man with an incredible legacy! He never walked softly as his footprints will be seen in so many generations to come! God's blessings to all of you as you remember him with endless joy.
