Abel Martinez Obituary
Public Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory in the Outside Chapel from 1PM- 9PM Rosary will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory in the Outside Chapel at 7PM.
Funeral Services will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Odessa, TX on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10AM, Officiating will be Fr. Carlos Rodriguez Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Abel R. Martinez was born in Delicias, Mexico to Pedro and Maria Martinez whom have preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 - 1962. He worked for Abbott Supply for over 25 years constructing metal buildings and at Dale Myers Trucking for over 5 years as a ground's keeper.
Abel is survived by three sons and one daughter, Abel Martinez Jr. and wife Raechelle of Odessa, TX, Cruz Martinez of Odessa, TX, Abel Martinez of Colorado and Lorina Salcido and husband, Rodney of Odessa, TX. Abel was blessed with eight grandchildren, Graylen, Aaron, Marizabel, Annabel, Damian, Zayn, Enzo, and Dalia and doubly blessed with four great-grandchildren, Italia, Eliana, Jacob, and Alaina Pallbearers: Cruz Martinez, Aaron Rodriguez, Oscar Doporto, David Pedroza, Julio Nunez and Rodney Salcido.
