ODESSA - Anthony "Tony" Johnson III, age 48, passed away at Focused Care Nursing Home in Crane, TX on Thursday, July 15, 2021. He was born to Marjorie Gonzalez Durbin and Anthony Johnson Jr. on Monday, February 12, 1973 in Yuma, Arizona.

Music, arts and crafts, and coloring were a big part of Tony's life. He had always wanted to be a DJ and loved concerts. He was always happy and loved his mom and family. Tony was always protective of his sister. He was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. He loved football and was a Miami Dolphins fan. Tony was loved dearly by the staff at Focused Care and the family is so grateful for their hard work and attention bestowed upon him over the years.

Tony was preceded in death by his father: Anthony Johnson Jr.; two brothers: David Lee Johnson and Christopher Lee Durbin; grandmother: Elsie Bacon; and cousin: Michael Ray.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his mother: Marjorie Durbin and husband Roger Perry; dad: Roger Dale Durbin; sister: Debra Moreland; step sister: Lacy Perry; brother: Charles E. Johnson; step brother: Jake Perry and his wife Nerisa; nephews: Noah G. Johnson, Jonah H. Johnson, Abel E. Johnson, Clayton R. Moreland, Shawn W. Moreland, William L. Moreland; aunt: Wanda Honaker; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 4 PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Graveside services at 1:00 pm Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Odessa II Gardens section of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa and condolences may be sent to the family online at
