Anthony Talbert Obituary
Anthony Lyle Talbert is survived by his first wife, Edna Marie (O'Brien) Talbert whom he married in 1967 while attending medical school at New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry. He had his first son David Francis Talbert in 1969, a week before receiving his MD. His second son, Christopher Lyle Talbert, arrived in 1970 during his internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. Upon completion of his military duty at Ft. Devens, MA, Dr. Talbert had his family move to Yankton, SD, where he joined a group practice in pediatrics and had his 3rd child, Tracie Marie Talbert in 1975 .
He divorced July 29, 1977 and the next day married on July 30, 1977, with a daughter following 5 months later.
From his first family with Edna he leaves three children, David, Christopher, and Tracie and three beautiful grandchildren, Chloe Marie, Keaghan Noah, and Jackson Patrick Talbert.

Thank you all for remembering Tony in each of your individual ways. No single person is all good or all bad. It´s easy to remember someone in a specific way during anger, regret, shame, or grief. Each of us has the choice to pick those memories. And when you all remember who he was to you, it shows my brother, mother and I that he made some sort of difference in the world. In the end, that is all any of us can hope for.

Thank you all for remembering Tony in your individual ways. I can´t think of a single perfect person, and he had plenty of time in his life to make mistakes or to mend them if he chose to. I can´t speak to his wishes or his choices, and I believe everyone has the right to remember him in the way they see fit. People are not all good or all bad and sometimes it´s easier to see one or the other. Please remember Tony however you need to, it means that people can continue to be not all bad and not all good.
