Chance Smith Obituary

ODESSA Our beloved Chance Smith went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 25, 2016.

He was born March 28, 1990 to Rocky and Paula Smith in Odessa, TX. He was a longtime resident of Odessa, TX, graduating from Permian High School in 2008, playing basketball and football. He most recently moved to Houston to pursue a dream of underwater inspection. He was a happy, go lucky, laid back kind of guy. He enjoyed life and was a friend to anyone. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.

He is survived by his father, Rocky Smith; mother; Paula Smith; sister's, Chelsea Waters and husband Jason and their children, Walker, Willow and Winter, Callie Norris and husband, Matt and their children, Reece, Ryan and Ryker; grandparents, Troy and Ida Smith, Shirley and Tommie Martin; as well as numerous family members, friends and his beloved dog, Jaz.

The pain and loss is so heavy and we feel helpless to comfort you, but we do know where our hope for tomorrow comes... it comes from our Lord and Savior. So, we will trust in Him to give you strength and grace for these sad days. We will depend on Him to provide you with enough love and comfort to cover every doubt and heart ache. We believe our Lord has you and your dear family close to Himself and you will look to His promises of eternity in Heaven. All our love and prayers, Sam and Rhonda
