Darrell Williamson Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Doyle and Donie Williamson, his nephew, Brayden Chapman and sister-in-law, Melissa Williamson. Survived by wife, Patty Williamson, daughters Mikki Marshall and Kim Teal and her husband Shawn, son Jeff Chapman and his wife Nicole; grandsons, Taylor Eckel and wife Scout, Caden Teal, and Isaiah Cortinaz, granddaughters Bailey Holmes and her husband Brandon, Kiersten Chapman, Hannah Chapman, Addy Chapman, Alexis Cortinaz, and Kaidenze Cortinaz; great grandchildren, Denver and Brynlee; siblings Diane Stucks and her husband Raymond, Dean Williamson and his wife Susan, and Danny Williamson; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.
Darrell was a man of integrity who loved the Lord. He will be missed by many. Ministering to the lost was his heart's desire. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in honor of Darrell to Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Permian Basin, P. O. Box 13075, Odessa, Texas 79768. Celebration of life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Odessa on October 15th at 10 a.m. officiated by Pastor Landon Coleman.

Darrell was a good and true friend. He helped me and others whenever a need or question arose. There’s many times since his passing that brought me a smile and a fond remembrance of conversations we had. He made this world a better place, and his passing doesn’t diminish the positive memories I have of him.

With so much time passing since October 8, 2022, I still think of Darrell in so many ways, and on do many days. He was a good friend in church work (sprinkler repair at IBC), a good friend to play golf with, and just a nice ready to smile guy. He is missed and my assurance is that we will meet again in heaven!

God was certainly gracious to allow our paths to cross. Tom and I and Darrell provided music to many churches and retirement centers across the Permian Basin. It was always a worshipful experience especially at Christmas and was never a struggle in rehearsing. He was our friend and a godly man. Patti, our prayers are lifted for you during this time of grief.
