Mrs. Rivera was born on June 15, 1932 in Terlingua, Texas to Mauricia (Martinez) and Juan Urquietta. She was a veteran of the United States Women's Army Corps, serving overseas in Japan in the late '50s, and lived her life as a proud patriot.
