Gardendale - John E. Morris, of Gardendale, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2024.

"John Henry Edward Eugene Morris", as his mother called him when he was in trouble, was born August 13, 1949, to Marvin and Dorothy Morris. In the early 1950's the Morris family, Marvin, Dorothy, Marvin Jr., Jim, and John moved from Illinois to Texas.

In 1968, he graduated from Odessa High School. And in 1972, he married Candy Morris. They had three children - Sean, Ian and Sheena, and subsequently, three grandchildren, Darrian, Michaella and Gryphon.

M-Tech, John's business, was started in 1985, and, over the years, it became the family business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy, his brother Jim, and son Sean.

John is survived by his wife, Candy, children, Ian and Sheena, and grandchildren Darrian, Michaella, and Gryphon.
