Joyce Campbell Obituary
Was a compassionate, kind, hardworking & giving woman. She grew up in & graduated high school in Brookville, IN (class of 1964) and eventually made her way to Odessa, TX where she began her career in the mobile phone industry. She started out at Basin Communications in 1982 and
left to begin a long and successful career with Southwestern Bell mobile systems (later to be called Cingular Wireless and ultimately AT&T) along the way she built many lifelong friendships, mentored many young employees and made a truly positive impact on more people than she ever realized. After retiring in 2012, life lead her back to Brookville where she worked for a short time at her families beloved Brook Hill Golf Club, a place that held countless wonderful memories & where many, many
friends were made. Although West Texas was her physical home at the time of her passing, Brookville was always home in her heart.
Joyce is survived by and was a beloved sister to Carol Renaker Johnson and Steve "Sparky" Renaker and an amazing "Aunt Joycie" to many nieces and nephews. Her greatest pride and joy are her family; she was a loving mother to Jill Campbell Saulsbury & husband Mark as well as her son Brent Murrell along with his wife Christy. She was an adoring "Gogum" to her grandchildren Meagan Saulsbury Satepauhoodle and husband Ryan, Amy Saulsbury Brady and husband Joshua, Jane Murrell & Jacob Saulsbury. She was ultimately upgraded to "Gr-Gogum" status by her great grandchildren Hannah, Ethan, Zoie, Ryder, Jagger, Ridge, Rusty & Luke.
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved "Mother & Daddy" Jane Quiggle Renaker & Allan Renaker, along with her Uncle Dale Renaker, they undoubtedly had a beautiful long-awaited reunion at the gates of Heaven.
As per Joyce's wishes there will be no funeral services, the family asks that everyone please honor and remember her with joy and celebration... the most prevalent comments made about her, and stories told all speak to what a joy she was to be around, her positive spirit truly made an impact on the world around her & we ask that you all honor her memory by spreading that same joy & positivity in your own lives.

I was saddened to hear your news of Joyce´s passing. I worked with Joyce in West Texas at Southwestern Bell mobile systems, Cingular wireless and AT&T for around 12 yrs. She always had a smile on her face and a positive thing to say about anyone and everyone. As a new manager she mentored me in many aspects of customer service and store operations. I´m sure it will come as no surprise because she shared how much she loved her family and grandkids to all of us that worked with her. She will be missed but she left us with some wonderful memories and for that thank you Joyce.
