She is survived by her husband, Bobby Stokes, sons, Chad Brannon and wife Katie, Josh Brannon and wife Priscilla, daughters, Misty and Callee Stokes, sister Karla McIntosh and husband T.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Glynna Smith and JB Copeland., sister, Karen Perry, and grandson Travis Scott.

Kathy was not only a loving and caring mother to Chad and Josh, but a very special bonus mom to Misty and Callee. Kathy enjoyed many things in life, small or big. She loved entertaining people with cookouts. She enjoyed playing golf and tennis, and if there was a pool around, Kathy was in it.

Kathy was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved serving others and sharing the word of God to anyone that she had the pleasure of meeting. Kathy was a part of Christ on campus at the local college in Odessa. She lived for sharing the gospel to the young people on campus.

Kathy was able to light up any room she came in with her contagious smile and enjoyable laugh. She was instantly someone that you could tell all your secrets to, she was good at keeping them!
