Lena Stringer Obituary
Lena is survived by her children; two sons: Burton Stringer III of Midland and Don Stringer and wife Shawn of Odessa; daughters: Elizabeth Murray and husband Bill of Odessa and Vickie Schwartz and husband Jerry of Wolfforth; two sisters: Mary Echeverria and Margie Campbell, both of Odessa; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother-in-law, Nick Echeverria.
The family will receive friends at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 14, 2017 at West University Church of Christ, officiated by David Valencia. Interment follows at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Lena was such a blessing to everyone that met her. I have know Lena most of my life and have laughed with and loved her to no end. God sure did gain an angel and I know she will be in the hearts of all that know her, for the rest of our lives. We will rejoice in the life she led and the example she was to all of us. Let us remember her for her life and the brightness she brought into every room she walked into. I will miss you sweet lady and love you always. Jeanette Isbell
