Loretta Jane Thomas

ODESSA - Loretta Jane Thomas, 75, gained her wings on Saturday, May 21, 2022 after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Henry Jackson Clark and Lillian Maurice (Watkins) Clark on May 23, 1946 in Matador, Texas. She married William Robert Thomas and together they had 4 children. Jane enjoyed working in the yard, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, and playing bingo. She had a pleasant personality and was loved by many. She could make you smile for no reason at all. Jane and Willie were owners of Willies Oil Sales in Odessa, Tx for many years. She spent most of her weekends at the track drag racing. Jane was a very high spirited and humorous woman. She was full of laughter and lots of funny stories. She loved being with her grandchildren and teaching them to laugh.

Her life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children; William Robert Thomas (Amy) of Odessa, Valerie Jane Coppedge (Jimmy) of Odessa, Tilman Wade Thomas (Brandie) of Odessa, and Vicky Lynn Thomas of Odessa. Her six grandchildren; James, Kris, Trey, McKenna, Chris, and Kensey and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She has a brother; Henry J. Clark of Odessa, sisters; Glenda Presley of Odessa, and Jackie Stull of Carlsbad, NM.

A big Thank You to all of the nurses and staff for all the care you gave out mom at Texas Oncology and Home Hospice. Your caring and compassion meant so much and helped out family get through a terrible time.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister; June Buck.
