Lynn Waterbury

1957 - 2022

ODESSA - Let it be known that on Monday, the 25th day of July in the year of our Lord 2022, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, Lynn Waterbury, has been delivered to her final rest at age 64.

Lynn was given to this world in Kermit, TX on November 7th, 1957, by the love between Bobby Gene and Anita Jo Hestand. She found an early career as a telephone operator that lasted nearly 20 years until her eldest son, Jessie, introduced her to the love of her life. Earl. Their courtship began in 1997, which led to their beautiful marriage on February 13th, 1998. Lynn was possessed of a giving spirit, and a passion for helping others, which was most prominently displayed by the sparkle in her beautiful blue eyes whenever she rest them upon her children and grandchildren. Her absence in this world will be felt most keenly by those of us that remain in her stead; and we accept this sacred honor with our spirits strengthened in order that we keep her memory alive. We move forward, taking solace in knowing that her work with us is complete and her time for peace has been well earned.

Lynn was preceded in death by her twin granddaughters Heather and Hailey, her mother Anita Jo, and her beloved husband Earl.

She is survived by her 5 children Jessie Taylor and wife Amber, Michael Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Misti Trull and husband Joe, and Cody Ryan. Lynn had 14 grandchildren Damian, Brittany, Taci, Kayla, Mathew, Kaylee, Shyenn, Nathan, Miranda, JB, Natalie, Allysun, Kailynn, and Aria. She also had 1 great-granddaughter Berkly.

Public viewing will be held on Sunday, July 31st from 4-8pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Jimmy Hestand and held on Monday, August 1st 2022 at 2pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow services at American Heritage Cemetery 4100 FM 1788 Midland, TX. Flowers may be sent to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home 601 N Alleghaney Ave Odessa, TX 79761.
