Maria Mejia Obituary
Maria loved to cross stitch. She made the best Chile macho, frijoles and tortillas. She enjoyed having a full house and was always very inviting. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known as "Lela" to her grandchildren. She was a great and loyal friend. She loved music and always had a smile on her face.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Isidro Mejia; daughters: Nelva Genoveva Jaramillo and husband Jose, Sylvia Lorena Mejia, Olga Mejia Guebara and husband Joel, Lorenza Mejia, and Beatriz Mejia Sigala and husband Ramon Jr.; sisters: Socorro Padilla, Lupe Quagliato, Marta Jimenez, and brother Eduardo Jimenez; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Asencion and Audelia Jimenez; sister: Elvira Solis; daughter: Angelica María Jimenez; and grandson: Daniel Gomez.
Public Visitation will begin Sunday May 15, 2022 at 1:00pm. Prayer service will be on Monday May 16, 2022 at 7:00pm. Julia Martinez from Iglesia Del Camino will officiate. Funeral Services will be held at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 11:00am. Father Hilario Rivera from Holy Redeemer will officiate. Burial follows at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20BL.
