Mary Prado Obituary

ODESSA Mary Lou Casas Prado, 70, of Odessa, was born August 25, 1937 in Fort Stockton, TX to Wilfo and Lus Casas.

Surrounded by her devoted and loving family Mary Lou peacefully went to meet the Lord after a lengthy fight with diabetes on Wednesday, December 26, 2007.

She married Robert A. Prado in Fort Stockton on October 13, 1956 and moved to Odessa where they raised four loving daughters. She and Robert opened and ran Prado's Mexican Food, a staple for many loyal customers for over 20 years.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and only brother, Ray Casas.

Those left to treasure her memories are her daughters, Bertha Molinar, Bobbie Prado Steves and husband, David, Norma Crowson and husband, Dennis, and JoAnn Wagner and husband, Lynn, all of Odessa, five granddaughters, Erica Molinar Graves and husband, Greg of Lubbock, Crystal Molinar, Lynette Wagner, Andrea Wagner and Anna Marie Crowson, one grandson, Michael Brantz Fisher, and great-grandson on the way, ex-husband, Robert A. Prado, longtime friend, Bob Selby and sister-in-law, Josephine Casas of Englewood, CO.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chavez officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Bertha,
My deepest condolences to you, your sisters, and your families in the loss of your Mother. It hurt me to hear that you have lost such a beautiful lady. My memories of her go back to my childhood and I can see her wonderful smile, I hear her precious laugh, and feel her warm spirit. God Bless You.
