Oscar Barrera Obituary
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernardito Getigan officiating. Burial will be at the Los Angeles Garden of the Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Acres West Funeral Chapel.
He was born in McAllen. He was a farm and ranch hand and was Catholic.
SURVIVORS Daughters, Alicia B. Garcia of Shakopee, Minn., Cruz Cuellar of Odessa, Criselda Barrera of Chicago, Ill., and Jennifer Barrera and Rebecca Barrera, both of Spur; sons, Oscar Barrera of Crosbyton, Tony Florez of Dallas, Armando Barrera, Carlos Barrera and Johnny Barrera, all of Spur, and Felix Barrera of Lubbock; sister, Amelia B. Garcia of Huffman Estates, Ill.; brother, Reynaldo Barrera of McAllen; 47 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
