Roy Simpkins Obituary
Roy graduated from Odessa High School in 1972. He married and later became a business owner. He was the owner of a Black Harley Davidson motorcycle, an avid golfer and proud owner of Simpkins Custom Coat and Machine.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gerry Marino. His survivors are his ex-wife and her husband, Cari Lynn and Jesse Loffler, Sons, Sawyer Dylan Simpkins and Michial Hesson. One granddaughter, Ciera Hesson. Brothers, Larry Wade Jackson of Odessa and L.D. Jackson and wife Judy, of Marble Falls, Texas. Brother-in-law, Bill Marino of Big Spring, Tx and one sister, Linda Swinney of Marble Falls. Half brothers, Mike Peavey and Danny Peavey of Panama. Nephews, Tim Marino of Lubbock and Brandon Marino, of Midland, Texas.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 6801 E. Business 80, Odessa, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, with Benjamin Bracamontes and Eli Garcia officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home. To sign the guestbook you may go to sunsetodessa.com.

Roy was one of my favorite nephews. Hard to believe he is gone especially so soon after the loss of his sister and mother. My prayers are with Sawyer and his family and all other family members. He was a wonderful nephew with a great personality. He will be missed dearly.
