Ruby Griffin Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Juanita Sims; brother, Joe Wells; sister, Dorothy Cox; and great-great grandchild, Cervias Lopez.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Jessie Griffin of Fort Worth, James and Darnell Griffin of Odessa, Eddie Griffin of Denver, CO, Doyle Griffin of Odessa; daughters, Rena Gamble of Denver, CO, Trudy Hodge and Lola Beck of Odessa; and Bonnie Hawkins of Kerrville; 39 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 9 AM to 9 PM with a Wake at 7 PM at Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Los Angeles Garden of the Ector County Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.

Today is the day that you laid down your burdens and all your worries by the riverside. You walked into the sunlight to be with Jesus. I sat by your bedside and watched you gaze into glory and that made me happy. I could hear you singing the song "Jesus is on the main line. Tell Him what you want". I knew you wanted to be home with the Lord. Seven years gone and every year on the day before my birthday, I cry like a baby. I know you are with Jesus. HE needed you to add a little more sparkle in the Heavens! You will always sparkle in my heart, my dear and most beautiful Grandmother! Rest in Peace with our Lord and Savior. We will hug again!

Mother I miss you more each passing day.I new one day we would have to part, but I didn't realize that the day would be so soon. I will always remember you and love you.
