MIDLAND - Ruby Nell Robinson Patton, 77, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2016 in Midland, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Belmont Baptist Church with Kerry Peacock officiating. Arrangements are by American Heritage Funeral Home.

Ruby Nell was born in Brownwood, Texas to Walton and Vida Wells Robinson on August 1, 1939. She graduated from Stanton High School. She married Robert Edward Patton in June of 1960 in Stanton, Texas. She worked as a Job Coach for Mental Heath and Mental Retardation (M.H.M.R.) for several years before she retired. She was involved in so many organizations including Women's Business Association (W.B.A.), Take Off Pounds Safely (TOPS)/ Keep Off Pounds Successfully (KOPS), the Permian Basin Fair and Expo, she sold AVON for over 40 years, and was involved with the Boy Scouts of America with her grandsons.

Ruby Nell is preceded in death by her parents Walton and Vida Robinson and her ex-husband Robert Patton.

Ruby Nell is survived by her three sons David and his wife Lois Patton of Odessa, Texas, Glenn and his wife Tina Patton of Odessa, Texas, Gary and his wife Julynn Patton of Kingsland, Texas; Grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Heather Patton, Ryan Patton and his Husband Daniel Zies, Joey Patton, Chad and his wife Kayla Patton, Katelyn Patton, Noah Patton, and Destiny Patton; Great Grandchildren, Hayleigh Patton and Gage Patton.
