Ryan Pope Obituary

ODESSA - Ryan Ledlow Pope, 47, passed away on Aug 9, 2021, in Odessa, TX. He is survived by his wife, Theresia; sons McCabe and Aiden; parents David and Vicky Pope; and siblings Bryan Ledlow, Andy Pope, and Tiffany Ingram. He was preceded in death by Cana Pope and Dana Pope Peterman.

Ryan was a twin born in Altus, OK on Mar 8, 1974, a few minutes after his brother Bryan. The family moved to Odessa and Ryan graduated from Odessa High School. He excelled at high jumping and where he proudly still holds state records to this day.

He was in the airforce for 4 years and was stationed at McCord AFB in WA where he worked on planes. He met his wife while stationed there and they decided to relocate to his hometown of Odessa when he got

out of the service.

Ryan worked in the oil field and furniture sales before eventually getting into pest control. Seven years ago, Ryan and his dad, David, successfully opened Pope's Exterminating and Pest Control.

Ryan was known for loving his family and bragging about his boys, being a mama's boy himself, joking around with everyone, bowling until he hurt his ankle, and being a bit of a foodie that loved to eat and try new restaurants. He loved dogs and would spoil them, especially Maya, whom he took everywhere with him. He recently had gotten into playing pool and enjoyed demonstrating all the trick shots he learned to his family.

Memorial Services will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Odessa, TX on Mon Aug 23, 2021 at 2 pm.

We ache so for your family. We remember the wonderful twins, both sets, as they grew in the neighborhood on 24th Street. Our kids always thought a great deal of your kids! May God be with you at this time and wrap His arms around you.
