Barbara Ann Czeczely

Barbara Ann "Bad Barb" Czeczely, 68, of Canonsburg, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital, following a lengthy illness and complications from a major surgery. She was born on July 10, 1957, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Albert and Betty Jane Wicks Hoffman. Barb attended Ringold High School. After 40 devoted years, she retired from Duritza Shop N Save in 2017. After retiring, she enjoyed her summers with her family at their camp at Pymatuning Lake. Barb spent countless hours graciously volunteering at senior centers in Pennsylvania and Ohio, where she made many lifelong friends. Barb enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, going to bingo and she loved watching Steelers football. She also enjoyed traveling; her favorite destination was Aruba. She was Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Church. On May 15, 1974, she married Mark S. "Cez, Marko" Czeczely, who survives. They would have celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage this year. Also surviving is her beloved daughter, Catherine "Cassie" Czeczely. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Hoffman.
