Bernadine Sanney, 62, of Claysville passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, in Washington Hospital.
She was born on January 18, 1959, in Washington a daughter of the late Bernard and Thelma Ruetschi Kelly.
Mrs. Sanney was a graduate of McGuffey High School Class of 1977.
She was a Christian who loved the Lord and attended United Christian Church in Washington. She loved flowers and especially liked to receive flowers from her grandson. She also enjoyed puzzle books, and shopping, and spending time with her family.
Wal-Mart employed her as a cashier for several years.
On February 3, 1978 she married Larry A. Sanney who survives.
Surviving are two sons Ike Sanney of Graysville and Bernard (Melissa) Sanney of Hundred, W.Va.; and four sisters Lorna (Bob) Brennen of McKeesport, Eleanor Chambers of Claysville, Suzie (John) Furcho of Washington, and Dolores (Doc) Roberts of Claysville.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Justice, Bernard, Jr., Ike, and Brandon, one great grandson Ryker; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister Mary Lou Hartman.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington.
Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 8, the time of service, in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Saler officiating. Interment will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
