Betty Haley Obituary

Betty M. Haley, 90, of Manor died peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025 with family by her side. She was born January 11, 1935 in New Freeport, PA, a daughter of the late John Wesley Moninger and Audrey Spragg Moninger. She was a longtime seamstress and prior to retirement, was the owner of the Simply Elegant bridal shop. She was a life-long and devoted member of the First Baptist Church, Jeannette and was the loving matriarch of the Haley family, ensuring every family gathering was special. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Joseph Richard Haley, her brother Cecil Moninger, a nephew Jason Moninger and her son-in- law Jeff Marzaloes. She is survived by her children, Donna Grier and her husband Steven of Durham, NC, Daniel Haley and his wife Tammy of Shoals, IN, Jeffrey Haley and his fiance Trish of Manor and Catherine Marzaloes of Jeannette; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Nibby and Missy. Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St., Friday from 11 a.m. till time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Hockensmith officiating.
