Charles Soma Obituary

Charles G. Soma, 94, of Muse, died Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was born December 21, 1930, in Muse, a son of Peter and Anna Gaydochak Soma. Mr. Soma was a member of the St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, in Canonsburg. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Alaska. Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Quality Printing in Wellsburg, W.Va. He enjoyed football, golf, reading and especially gardening. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great- nieces, and great- nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Peter, John and Andrew Soma; and his sisters, Anne, Helen, Elizabeth, Anastasia "Nellie" Soma, and Mary Freeland. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 noon Saturday, April 26, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Canonsburg. To leave condolences, visit www.sollon.com
