Charles Sonson Obituary
He was born July 22, 1927, a son of the late Charles and Mary Sonson of Washington.
Mr. Sonson served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired from McGraw-Edison in Canonsburg, where he was a draftsman engineer.
Mr. Sonson was the beloved husband of 62 years to Genevieve Sonson; loving father of Chuck and Julie Sonson, Cathy and Bob Sawchuck, Regina and Bud Kelly, Mary and Rob Williams, Karen Osheka and David Sonson; loving grandfather of Ashley Sonson, Charles Sonson, Tim Sawchuck, Sean (Danielle) Sawchuck, Ian Kelly, Deanna Kelly, Maura Kelly, Lauren (Chuck) Williams Renwick, Morgan Osheka, Rachel Osheka and Dylan Osheka; and loving great-grandfather of Lorilie and Landon Sawchuck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Washington. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, South Strabane Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 575 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202.

Dear Genevieve,
I am so sorry for your loss. Chuck was a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. But most of all he was a great father-in-law to me. He and you will always have a special place in my heart. God has called Chuck home to a place of peace and joy. Today Chuck's mom and your mom are welcoming him home. May the grace of God always be with you and keep you close to His love. I wish I could be there in person but know that my prayers and heart are always with you. May the Grace and Love of God be with you.
