Charles Edward Tustin

Charles Edward Tustin, 94, of Clarksville, formerly of Waynesburg, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Mt. Macrina Nursing Home, Uniontown. He was born April 29, 1930, in Rogersville, the son of the late, Clyde Sampson Tustin, and Edna Virginia Dains Tustin. Charles is survived by two daughters, Dolores V. Walker of Clarksville, with whom he lived with the past few years before entering Macrina Manor, and Detra A. Forsythe of Carmichaels; a sister-in-law, Jane Duvall of Waynesburg; four grandchildren: Guy Lawrence Rush Jr. of Washington, Vanessa Ann Rush of Carmichaels, Thomas Edward Rush (Jessie Frankie) of Waynesburg and adopted granddaughter, Jody Ann Faul (Mark) of Ohio; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. On June 6, 1957, Charles married Edna Mae Durbin Tustin, who passed away in 2022. Charles was the last of his immediate family. Also preceding him in death are two brothers, James Henry and William Dorsey Tustin; four sisters, Mary Marie Richter, Rose Ellen Montgomery, Laura Pauline Tustin and Sarah Kathlene Tustin; and a great-grandchild, Michael "Mikey" R. Duesenberry. Charles worked for the Greene County Maintenance Department at Bethleham Cemetery as a caretaker. He loved to fish, spend time with his family and go to church. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Waynesburg, Family and friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 21, and from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, in the Paul M.
